Endorsed Candidates

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL LABORERS LIVING IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY
 
As your Union President and Business Manager, it is my responsibility to investigate political candidates that will support union members and the issues that are most important, such as wages, pensions and healthcare. The Allegheny County Executive Race is in May of this year.  It is imperative that we as union members endorse someone who will stand with us to be our political voice, not only in Allegheny County, but throughout the state. There are several people running for this seat, and I have met with all of the front runners. Out of all of the candidates I met with, without question, John Weinstein is not only the most qualified of all the candidates, but he is also someone who has proven himself to be 100 % behind the building trades unions and their membership. (John was endorsed by the Pittsburgh Building Trades).
 

John Weinstein understands what it takes to get the job done.  He has been the county treasurer for the past 24 years, and has a long and extensive history of bringing businesses and labor together. John's vision for Allegheny County is one of prosperity, and growth in economic development, using union labor to build this region. I stand with the following union leaders and their membership in endorsing John Weinstein for the next County Executive of Allegheny County.
