The Laborers - AGC Training Center is a top quality facility with capabilities for training laborers in all the current skills that give our contractors a competitive edge. The training staff is qualified to deliver the latest in technological skills to every apprentice and journeyman. Currently, there are 34 courses offered, covering such topics as concrete, asbestos, scaffolding, blueprint reading, and first aid. All current and potential union members are strongly encouraged to utilize this valuable resource to better prepare themselves for future employment.

TRAINING SCHEDULES

The following calendars show listings of classes that are scheduled to be held for a two month span.  The schedules are updated frequently to reflect course additions, cancellations, and open/closed status.  Please read the following bullet points for more detailed information:

You must be an active member in one of the locals within the Laborers’ District Council of Western Pennsylvania.

Registration for courses must be made by calling the Training Center at 1-800-442-8868

 

bullet

All courses are offered on a first come/first serve basis.  Classes fill quickly, so call well in advance of start date.

If a class is filled, your name will be put onto a waiting list until that class is offered again.

 
bullet

Even if classes are shown as open, you may be put onto a waiting list until those already on the list have had the opportunity to schedule.

 

bullet

Unless otherwise indicated, all courses start at 7:00am and end between 3-3:30pm

All courses are subject to change at Training Centers' discretion.
